• Vortex Chamber: Pond water enters the Nexus+ through the inlet, flowing into the inner chamber. This vortex chamber efficiently separates larger solids, allowing them to settle out and not burden the filtration process.
• Eazy Filter: The water then proceeds through the Eazy filter, where the mechanical stage of filtration occurs. Thanks to the static bed of K1 Micro filter media, finer particles are trapped and removed from the water, ensuring crystal-clear results.
• Biological Treatment: The mechanically cleaned water is directed to the outer chamber of the Nexus+, where you'll find the innovative K+Media Moving Bed. This is the heart of biological treatment, hosting various strains of bacteria and filter feeders on its vast, protected surface area. These microorganisms work tirelessly to convert harmful Ammonia and Nitrite into less harmful Nitrate.
• Return to the Pond: The treated water, now free from impurities, passes through the exit grill and returns to your pond, creating a cycle of continuous filtration and maintaining optimal water quality.
